Images Of Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula, A Photo Essay

In the spring of 2015 I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work as an English Language Fellow in Russia under the auspices of Georgetown University and the US State Department.

My work visa allowed me a year to teach at a university in Khabarovsk, and to give seminars to Russian teachers of English Composition at colleges, schools and universities throughout Russia's Far East.

I spent one week as a guest of Vitus Bering University, lecturing, meeting students and teacers alike, on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia.

I was treated with the utmost warmth, dignity, friendliness and respect.

It was a visit I won't ever forget.
